Islands of Malaysia
There are beautiful islands within Malaysia, most of
them can be visited during your travels but not all offer a place to
stay overnight. The islands of Malaysia are divided in the islands at
the western peninsula, the eastern peninsula and the islands around
Borneo. All are equally stunning, though there enough differences
between each island. Most popular islands are Langkawi,
Perhentian, Redang and Tioman. Around Borneo you have Lankayan,
Selingan, Mataking and of course Sipadan.
Malaysia, a land of friendly people and a nation blessed with natural wonders, welcomes you. Bordered by Thailand to the north and Singapore to the south, Malaysia also stretches across the northern tier of Borneo to form the states of Sabah and Sarawak.
With 4,800 km of coastline, Malaysia boasts some of the most beautiful islands and beaches in Asia. With the Straits of Malacca on the west, the South China Sea on the east and the Andaman Sea to the northwest, an amazing number of these natural treasures lay nestled in tranquil bays and coves.
Beneath the aquamarine waters lies a fascinating world of corals and marine life waiting to be discovered.
